Indications:

Epilepsy (adjunctive therapy in patients ≥2 years of age): partial seizures, primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures ,generalized seizures of Lennox-Gastaut syndrome. 
Epilepsy (monotherapy in patients ≥16 years of age): conversion to monotherapy in patients with partial seizures who are receiving treatment with carbamazepine, phenobarbital, phenytoin, primidone, or valproate as the single AED. 
Bipolar Disorder in patients ≥18 years of age: maintenance treatment of Bipolar I Disorder to delay the time to occurrence of mood episodes in patients treated for acute mood episodes with standard therapy

Dosage and Administration:

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Take the medicine with a glass of water.
It can be taken with or without food.
You should not stop treatment without discussing this with your doctor. This is particularly important if you have epilepsy.
Your doctor will prescribe a low dose to start and gradually increase the dose over a few weeks until you reach a dose that works for you (called the effective dose).
Never take more Lamogin than your doctor tells you to.

Contraindication:

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients.
